Presale begins for Broken Bat Brewing’s holiday beer outlets. Benny is a Mexican lager who has aged in tequila casks, and Ricky is a citrus ale that has aged for seven months in Sauternes white wine oak casks. You can pick up your order and try them both on tap in the Faucet Room (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) on Thursday, July 1st.

Tickets are on sale for the Wisconsin IPA Fest at Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.). The standout event is Saturday August 28, but don’t expect tickets to be available for very long.

Wednesday June 30

the Tap Yard Waukesha (1150 W. Sunset Dr.) combines beer and popcorn at 6 p.m. Try four different beers paired with four flavors of popcorn. The cost is $ 12 in advance or $ 15 on the day of.

Cocina Mad Mexican Food from Trouble Makers arrives at Sugar maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) again. The four-course beer dinner includes four beer pairings.

Sprecher Brewery Pass me a pint comes to Greenfield Park (2028 S. 124th St.) for a few weeks. The traveling beer garden will be there until July 18.

Thursday July 1

Sprechers Day arrives at the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.) Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will include Sprecher beers, lots of food and live music. The festival will also present Festbier, a collaboration between Sprecher and Bavarian Bierhaus. Admission is free on Thursday, $ 5 on Friday and $ 10 on Saturday.

Elevated grain brewery Pop-up beer garden comes to Minooka Park (1927 E. Sunset Dr. Waukesha) for the weekend. Hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Toppling Goliath will be handing out delicious samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 7 p.m.

Friday July 2

The beer garden at War memorial center (750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.) opens on weekends. Kegel’s Inn provides German beer and food. Summer hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Weekend hours are noon to 8 p.m. The beer garden is open until October 3.

It’s a busy day at 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.). The brewery is launching five Sausage Series beers, a sausage-themed collaboration with four other Wisconsin breweries. But wait, there is more. 1840 also launches Pillow Top IPA and Pigs on the Wing, a hard seltzer made from cucumber, lime, ginger and mint. Presale starts at 9 a.m. and pickup is after 3 p.m.

1840 will also hit the road with a beer garden at Frontier Park (5400 N. Park Dr., Butler). The hours are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Stock up on Eagle Park Brewing beers for the holiday weekend. The brewery is take out four concoctions Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Muskego location (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy.) and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Milwaukee Bar (823 E. Hamilton St.). Get Bowie’s NEIPA Space Suit, Major Tom Milkshake IPA, Shake Weight Hard Smoothie Seltzer, and Rocket Pop Slush Sour Ale.

Taste Third Space Brewing beers at Discount Liquor Waukesha from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Brewers Association said today National Independent Beer Day. All you have to do to participate is purchase some local craft beer to taste over the weekend. It takes very little effort.
