Notice to builders, contractors and owners!
The Village will move to a new online portal for permits and service requests to streamline the process for customers and staff. If you plan to submit a building permit soon, please take note of the following dates:
November 1, 2022: This is the last day to submit permits under the current system.
November 2-6, 2022: In order to enable the transition between the current system and the new system, the following activities will take place:
- No permits will be issued.
- New permit applications will not be accepted.
- Inspections will continue to be conducted and scheduled
- Permit reviews will continue to be completed
November 7, 2022: The new online permit portal will be accessible to the public.
- Applicants will be able to create a portal account and submit new permit applications, drawings and other permit documents through the permit portal.
- Acceptance of applications and issuance of permits resumes.
- Portal users will be able to check permit status, receive correspondence from the Village and pay for permits online.
