Portuguese International Music Awards winner Nikita Afonso will play Errington

Afonso takes the stage at War Memorial Hall on April 9



Nikita Afonso, winner of the International Music Award and winner of MTV’s February 2017 Cover of the Month, comes to the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.

The Canadian singer-songwriter will perform at Errington War Memorial Hall on Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m.

A statement from the Memorial Hall read, “You can rarely find artists who continue to generate authentic music and art to balance our increasingly commercial world. While many artists may be content to rely entirely on mainstream trends for their careers that are sure to garner views and gain traction, Nikita Afonso has made it her mission to create songs that provoke human emotion. . She took her love of pop and country music and made it her own, incorporating modern elements and inspirations from her favorite artists.
