Ronald Dale Church
Ronald Dale Church, 73 of Princeton, died Monday, June 13, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born November 6, 1948 in Princeton, he was the son of the late Arnold Earnest Church and Cynthia O’Dell Church.
Ronald was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was a former welder with Conn-Weld Industries in Princeton. He was a member of the Memorial Church of Christ in Princeton as a deacon.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, James, Leonard, Jack and Billy Church; and two sisters, Janice Church Bishop and Lucy Church Carrico.
Survivors include his wife of forty-six years, Debbie Goddard Church of Princeton; two daughters, Amanda Church Shinault and her husband Billy of Holly Ridge, NC and Sarah Church of Princeton; one son, Bradley Church of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Kennedi Shinault, Lincoln Shinault, Monroe Shinault and Macie Bailey; one sister, Shelby Church Carrico of Grant, AL; and three brothers, Clyde Church and his wife Carolyn of Sawmills, North Carolina, Dave Church and Ray Church, both of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
In previous years, Ronnie enjoyed traveling to visit his children and grandchildren. Not only did Ronnie enjoy serving as a deacon in his local church, but he was also a sound technician for many years. Some of his favorite pastimes were golf, finding the latest deal at a pawnshop, putting down roots in his mountaineers and cowboys. He had a great desire to help those in need, becoming known as the local handyman and in his spare time restoring classic cars for his own pleasure.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Rod Hedrick and Dr. Rickey Bradley officiating and the West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard conducting military rites. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as porters.
