Jeremy Couvillon of Baton Rouge, was hired by Crews and associates for business development.

He will work for the Little Rock, Arkansas-based investment bank focusing on municipalities and parishes in Louisiana.

Couvillion received a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration from LSU.

Myrland Clarke joined WLFT-TV as vice president of sales.

Clarke has had a 42 year career in sales and business development in the television and radio industries. Most recently, Clarke worked at iHeart Media in Montgomery, Alabama, and immediately before that he was Station Manager at WNWO, an NBC affiliate in Toledo, Ohio.


Open health care clinic hired Kristy mayes as the new director of development.

She will oversee all development and fundraising efforts for the nonprofit organization. She has been actively involved in nonprofit development and fundraising in the Baton Rouge community for over 20 years in a professional and volunteer role, with organizations such as Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center , Capital Area United Way and The School Runnels.

Mayes graduated in Communication from Loyola University.


Daphne Lamendola, the fourth generation owner / operator of Lamendola supermarket in Gonzales, was elected to Associated grocery stores Board of Directors.

She is the first woman elected to the board of directors.

Lamendola’s is one of the oldest family establishments in Ascension Parish; as well as one of the longest-serving retailer members of Associated Grocers. Lamendola bought the company 10 years ago from his father, Blair Lamendola. She graduated from the University of Southeast Louisiana.

Bonny botts was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Federal Campus Credit Union.

She will now oversee the business development efforts of the credit union in addition to marketing, public relations and brand management.

Botts was hired as the vice president of marketing at the credit union in 2014.

She graduated from LSU’s EJ Ourso College of Business with a BA in Marketing.

Chelsea Porch joined the team of Gambel Communications as a communications strategist.

She will handle media relations, community relations and social media for clients such as Operation Restoration, New Orleans Women and Children’s Shelter and ArcGNO.

Porché received a BA in Communications from Loyola University.


Katelyn McGibney joined the team of Stone Pig Walther Wittmann in his New Orleans office.

She will initially focus on commercial and litigation aspects.

McGibney is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she was editor-in-chief of the Loyola Law Review and participated in a mock court.

Kayla jacob joined the New Orleans office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson as an associate in the labor and employment practice group.

She previously worked as a Human Resources Consultant and Human Resources Consultant Supervisor for the Louisiana State Public Service.

Jacob received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwestern State University, a master’s degree in human resources education from LSU, and a law degree from the Southern University Law Center. She was a fellow of the Southern University Law Review.


Sonia A. Pérez and H. Merritt Lane III were appointed as new directors of the holding company and Hancock Whitney bank.

Pérez has served as President of the Southeastern States of AT&T Inc. since 2018. She previously served as President of AT&T Louisiana from 2010 to 2018.

She received a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas.

Lane has been President, President and CEO of Canal Barge Co. Inc., a New Orleans-based shipping, services and liquids storage company, since 1994.

He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Virginia.

Katie Klibert, of LaPlace, was appointed to South Louisiana Port Commission by Governor John Bel Edwards.

Klibert is the Community Relations and Business Development Manager for Reserve Telecommunications.

Klibert serves on the River Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, St. John the Baptist Parish Community Action, Public Service Council, and GNO Inc’s NextGen Council.
